• A working group consists of a group of members who have common interests in an area of the business.
• At the conferences, working group meetings take the form of open sessions including the Nortel prime and other Nortel representatives.
• Regular conference calls are held at which members are expected to participate and contribute.
• The objective of the working group is to raise and discuss issues of common concern, specify the needs of the partners and the form of the resolution.
• At the end, the issues are prioritised by consensus.
• The issues are then submitted to Nortel for high priority action or addressed by the creation of a cross functional task force.
